Softvery Solutions is happily preparing for the Web Summit 2025 dates in Lisbon. As we look forward to this exciting event, it feels natural to reflect on the lasting impressions from last year’s Summit, which continue to shape how I think about technology, leadership, and ethics.

This is why I decided to share my experience as the CEO of Softvery Solutions.

Attending the Web Summit in Lisbon last year turned out to be a fantastic experience. From the moment I was greeted at the airport for registration, the organization’s scale was mind-blowing. The vast pavilions, the vibrant colors, the countless stands, and the incredible diversity of people all created an inspiring atmosphere unlike anything I’ve seen before.

A Great Variety of Important Topics and Projects

What impressed me most about Web Summit Portugal was the strong focus on AI and its wide range of applications, touching everything from HR systems to climate change and energy management. Just behind AI, crypto and SaaS solutions showed remarkable innovation. As someone with deep expertise in healthcare and e-commerce, I found the alpha and beta projects on display especially intriguing:

• Rhymetec, an outstanding cybersecurity and data privacy compliance partner and official Web Summit partner. Meeting their Chief Information Security Officer, Metin Kortak, was extremely insightful.

• Kibus, the first device that automatically prepares healthy dog food.

• Virilitas Labs, empowering people on their reproductive journey through at-home detection, prevention, and treatment of male infertility. Connecting with founder Simone Immler was inspiring.

• Tellspec, pioneering early detection and diagnosis using rapid, affordable, and portable analyzers for whole blood, urine, and human milk.

• IplexMed, offering a point-of-care and at-home digital platform for fast, accurate, and non-invasive diagnosis of clinical and resistant respiratory infections. It was a pleasure to meet their CBO and Co-Founder, Neide Vieira.

• TrustMediaLens, software designed to store images securely, ensure GDPR compliance, enhance accessibility with AI, and integrate seamlessly through APIs.

These encounters reinforced our commitment at Softvery Solutions to support meaningful innovation. The AI-related panels became the basics for our company to establish strong data protection standards when creating AI chatbots and agents for our clients.

This insight guides us at Softvery Solutions to prioritize authenticity and trust in everything we build, whether it’s user experience design for healthcare applications, human-centric ecommerce platforms, or efficient insurance solutions.

Other Memorable Moments

Beyond the main event, the side activities in Lisbon’s picturesque locations were a real delight. The unexpected reunion with university professors and classmates after more than ten years was a memorable highlight.
